Emirgan Park Thousands of tulips bloom all around Istanbul in spring, and in April a riot of flowers takes over Emirgan Park with the annual Tulip Festival but everywhere in Istanbul is dotted with tulips. With their colourful petals, the flowers provide natural decoration for one of Istanbul’s greenest areas.
Millions of tulips have been planted in Istanbul’s parks, avenues, traffic roundabouts, etc… Best places to see them would be Sultanahmet Park, Gulhane Park and generally all around the city, the main location of the festival is Emirgan park along the Bosphorus.
